How Do I Have Group Telemedicine Sessions in My Virtual Clinic on BodySite?

Your BodySite Virtual Clinic is a great way to have both one-on-one sessions with your patients as well as in groups of up to 50 people.  Here’s how to do group visits.

First Log into your account in a web browser on a computer.  Then, click Virtual Clinic on the navigation bar of your account (if you don’t see this item, turn on the virtual clinic in account settings).

The options you’ll see on the page in the Group Visits section are to start a group right now (go live) or to schedule a group visit for the future at a given date and time.   Choose your option from menu.  

If you choose, Start a New Group Visit Now, you’re going live.  We’ll ask you to allow your camera and microphone and then you’ll be on camera.  You then use the Invite function to add people to your group visit.  Note that this method (going live) only allows you to invite people already on your platform account. 

If you want to schedule a Group Visit, click the Schedule a Group Visit choice and then input the name of your visit, and pick the date and time.

Once you do that, the visit will appear as an upcoming Group Visit like this:

To share the visit, click Share. 

When scheduling (as opposed to going live), you have the option of inviting users that are already in your system, but also sending a link to the group visit to people (by email, social media, etc.)

As with the live group option, you can invite users already in your account.

You can type in the patients name, choose patients based on the plan that they are on, click everyone ( choose from patients, staff members, staff members and patients)

Then click Send Invite.

At the time of your scheduled visit, you can use the start visit button to get started and we’ll confirm if you’re ready with this message below.  Note: Don’t start the visit until the time of the scheduled visit because if you start it and end it, you can’t restart it.  You'll get a warning as noted  . . .

Remember that if you want to do a group visit right now, but you also want to invite people who are not currently users in your account, use the schedule option and schedule the visit for now.  That gives you the benefit of starting now (going live) but also having the share by email link option.
