Sometimes you need a creative spark to begin creating that care plan or patient education for your patients and clients. Or a recipe. Or an exercise description. Or a block of text that you want to save and use over and over in your encounter notes. Scroll to the bottom if you want the video first. :)
No need to stare at a blank page wondering what to write. All you need to do is ask AI with a prompt and AI will write up a starting point for you in seconds.
First of all. What is. ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a chatbot developed by a company called OpenAI and itβs become one of the most frequently discussed applications of AI. Although AI takes many forms, ChatGPT has made artificial intelligence approachable by allowing users to search and analyze information in a way that search engines cannot.
Using ChatGPT in BodySite
In your provider account on BodySite, you have text editors in many places that you use to create blurbs of content in the daily programs your patients follow. You have text editors in your resource content tabs and you have editors in your recipe and exercise creators. There's even a text editor in your notes template creator. In all of these locations, you will not find that the editor has a new tool in the toolbar: AI. The AI button is sitting right below your other formatting options (Bold, Italic, etc.)
1. Look for the AI button . . .
2. Click the AI button . . .
When you click on the AI button, another text box will show up, prompting you to ask AI for help. It will look like this:
3. Type something into the AI Assistant box . . .
Be creative. Be bold. Don't underestimate the power of AI. For example, maybe I want to explain the pros and cons of a tirzepatide weight loss plan. Just type that into the assistant like this and hit the send button . . . wait a moment.
4. Review the AI response.
After you get the response back, you may want to move the box higher on your screen to review it.
5. Insert the Response into your editor.
Or try again if you don't like the answer, or discard it. You can type additional prompts into the assistant if you want better paragraph breaks, bullets, a heading, etc. If you like the answer click the Insert button and it will become an editable part of your content. Edit as you see fit and then save.
