BodySite AI-Scribe (Powered by DoraScribe)

BodySite’s AI-Scribe makes it easy to capture clinical conversations and turn them into structured notes—saving you time and reducing manual documentation.

Note: The AI-Scribe is only compatible with Chrome and Edge (not Safari or Firefox).

Getting Started

1. Choose Your Plan

All accounts start on the Free Tier, which includes 10 transcriptions per month. You can upgrade anytime in Settings → Platform Settings.

You won’t see the option to upgrade under Platform Settings until you complete your first transcription. Once you’ve created a transcription, the tier options will become available.

Standard Tier – $25/month (50 transcriptions/month)
Unlimited Tier – $50/month (unlimited transcriptions)

Transcriptions are shared across your entire office/account (not per user).

Using AI-Scribe in a Patient's Chart

2. Start a Transcription

Go to Patients
Open the patient’s chart
Click Chart & Notes
Select New Chart Entry
Choose 🎙️ Note from Transcription

Confirm patient details, select a note type (required), then click Proceed.

3. Record Your Visit

Click Start Recording
Pause and resume anytime
Click Generate Note when finished

Reviewing & Saving Your Note

4. Edit and Save

Click Edit Note
Select Add Note to Chart

You can continue editing in BodySite’s native editor until the note is signed and closed.

Important Tip

Do not click “Back to Chart” or close the patient profile while recording. This will end your transcription.

Using AI-Scribe During a Virtual Visit

5. Start Transcription in a Virtual Visit

Select 🎙️ Transcribe Visit to Note
Confirm patient details
Choose a note template
Click Proceed

6. Capture Both You and Your Patient (Optional)

During your virtual visit, we only capture your voice by default. If you want to record both sides of the conversation:

Toggle Call Audio ON
You will be prompted to share your screen. Allowing this won't actually "share your screen" but it will enable us to capture the audio of your patient/client (if desired)
Select the Browser tab where your call is running.

Make sure:

If sharing a Browser tab (recommended) → enable “Also share tab audio”
If sharing your entire window or screen → enable “Also share system audio” instead

After selecting your Browser tab, return to your Virtual Clinic tab so you can see your patient.

Click Start Recording
Pause/resume anytime
Click Generate Note when finished
Edit if needed
Select Add Note to Chart

FAQs

Do transcriptions reset each month?
Yes, your transcription count resets monthly based on your plan.

Are transcriptions per user?
No, they are shared across your entire account.

Can I edit notes after they’re generated?
Yes. You can edit before and after adding to the chart, until the note is signed and closed.

What happens if I leave the page?
The transcription will stop, and any unsaved recording may be lost.

Do I need to enable Call Audio?
Only if you want to capture both sides of the conversation.
