A: This should rarely happen, but if it does, the information should only be off slightly. When using the bar code food scanner on our app, the system will pull the nutritional information, as registered with the FDA/Food Manufacturer via Nutritionix. Unfortunately we (BodySite) don’t have any control over that aspect of the food tracker. What sometimes happens is the Food Manufacturer might change their product slightly which affects the nutritional information, and then they don’t update it in all appropriate places. You can report any errors to us directly at info@bodysite.com so we can help you directly and/or report any errors directly to Nutritionix as they come up.
